Police Seize a Loaded Firearm

Region of Peel – Officers from 12 Division have arrested and charged three individuals with numerous firearms offences in the City of Mississauga.

On Wednesday May 2, 2018, at approximately 4:30 p.m., 12 Division Bike officers investigated a vehicle in the area of Dundas Street East and Wharton Way in the City of Mississauga. During the investigation, police located a loaded 9mm Luger firearm.

Bryan HERRINGTON, a 27 year-old male,  Amber REDICK, a 20 year-old female of Coburg, and August EZEKIEL, a 19 year-old female of Toronto, were arrested and charged with the following firearms offences:

Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm

Careless Storage of Firearm 

Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing there was Firearm

Possession of a Loaded Restricted Firearm

Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm

Possession of Firearm with Altered Serial Number

HERRINGTON and REDICK were also charged with Obstruct Peace Officer.

Bryan HERRINGTON, Amber REDICK and August EZEKIEL appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Thursday May 3, 2018 for a bail hearing.
