Posted on Thursday May 10, 2018

Region of Peel – On Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 9 a.m. Chief Jennifer Evans, along with elected regional leadership and civic officals, will be participating in a ceremony to recommit to the signing of the Peel Youth Charter in recognition of the 10-Year Anniversary.

This will be held at the Peel Regional Council Chambers located at 10 Peel Centre Drive, Brampton on the 5th floor.

The Peel Youth Charter puts forward explicit rights for youth participation as members of the community, and sets expectations for supportive environments, programs and services.

“I am pleased to continue our pledge to the values and principles of the Peel Youth Charter.  The Peel Regional Police understand the importance of supporting our youth and have successfully developed and implemented a number of programs that have focused on creating a safe and supportive environment in our schools, workplaces and throughout the community,” said Chief Jennifer Evans.
