The 24th Annual Elmer Safety Awards – Looking For Heroes

Region of Peel - Peel Children’s Safety Village, in partnership with Peel Regional Police are proud to host the 24th Annual Elmer Safety Recognition Awards.

Nominations are now being accepted. Each child in Peel Region, including the communities of Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon, from junior kindergarten through to grade eight, is eligible for an award. Children who assisted their classmates, parents or friends, and have performed at a level beyond expectation, are eligible. We are seeking children who, in the past year, showed heroic behavior or performed extraordinary acts of citizenship. 

As many as ten children will receive an award during the ceremony, which is being held at the Peel Children’s Safety Village on Tuesday, May 15, 2018.  All winners will receive a trophy and a certificate from Peel Regional Police.
