Appeal for Witnesses in Mississauga Shooting

Region of Peel – Investigators from the 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance regarding a shooting in the City of Mississauga.

On Thursday, November 9, 2017, at approximately 6:45 p.m., Peel Regional Police received multiple calls of shots being fired on Acorn Place in the City of Mississauga.

Officers arrived in the area and located a male party suffering from gunshot wounds.  The 26 year-old victim from Mississauga, was transported to a local trauma centre and is currently listed in stable condition.

The two suspects are described as male black and were seen fleeing in a dark colour vehicle.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses to the incident or any persons who may have video surveillance or dashboard video.
