Mississauga Warrant Leads to Seizure of Firearms and Drugs

Region of Peel – Officers from the Peel Regional Police 12 Division Neighbourhood Policing Unit with assistance from 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau and the Street Crime Unit, have arrested and charged a male in connection with drugs and firearms offences in the City of Mississauga.

On Thursday, November 9, 2017, investigators executed a warrant at a residential address in the area of Cawthra Road and Tedwyn Drive in Mississauga. During the search, officers located and seized a Magnum .357 handgun, a loaded 9mm Taurus PT92 handgun, as well as a quantity of marijuana.

Myles MAITLAND, a 56-year-old male from the City of Mississauga, was charged with numerous drugs and firearms offences.

MAITLAND was held for a bail hearing at the A. Grenville & William Davis Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Brampton on Friday, November 10, 2017.
