Man Arrested with Firearm after Motor Vehicle Collision

Region of Peel– Investigators from the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have seized firearm after a single vehicle collision, in the City of Mississauga.

On Saturday July 6, 2019 at approximately 5:41a.m, a motor vehicle was travelling in the area of Credit Woodlands, in the City of Mississauga. The vehicle collided with a tree, upon the arrival of uniform patrol officers; the driver was arrested in relation to the collision.

Further investigation revealed that the driver had a loaded firearm in his possession.  27 year-old, Earle Campbell-Noel a resident of the city of Oakville has been charged with alcohol related offences, Fail to Comply with Recognizance, and 6 firearms related offences.

Campbell-Noel was held and later transported for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Brampton on the morning of July 6, 2019.
