*** MEDIA INVITE *** Every Dog Has It’s Day

Posted On Tuesday July 09, 2019

Region of Peel It’s time to celebrate all their hard work! After 16 intense weeks of training, two of our brand new Police Service Dogs will be receiving their badges and officially becoming active members of Peel Regional Police.

Police Service Dog Kylo and Stark are both 2 year old Belgian Shepherds that were born in Holland. They are both trained in general service work and will begin their next stage of training next year to be certified in a detection specialty.

Deputy Chief Marc Andrews will be presenting both Police Service Dogs with their badges. Following the ceremony we invite the media to observe a demonstration of our new Police Service Dogs in action.
