Public Assistance Sought in Sexual Assault Investigation
Region of Peel – Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Special Victims Unit (SVU) have arrested and charged a 39-year-old manfrom Toronto in connection with a sexual assault investigation.
In July 2025, the accused allegedly sexually assaulted a 17-year-old female victim in the City of Mississauga. Following a SVU investigation, Damion Andre Thomas was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Sexual Assault
- Sexual Exploitation
- Luring a Child under the age of 18
- Forcible Confinement
- Making or Publishing Child Pornography
- Possessing Child Pornography
Thomas is described as 6’2”, heavy build, with short black hair, and dark brown eyes. Thomas is known to work as a bouncer/security guard in Toronto. Investigators believe there may be additional victims who have come into contact with the accused through his occupation.
