26 Year Old Man Wanted for Numerous Offences

Region of Peel– Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking assistance from the public in locating a suspect that is wanted for numerous offences.

On March 12, 2019, the victim and the suspect, who are known to each other, were at a residence in the City of Brampton. The suspect forced entry into residence and proceeded to make death threats to several people within the residence. Numerous other criminal offences were identified as having occurred prior to and after this incident.

Linval Ritchie, a 26-year-old man with no fixed address, is known to have ties to the City of Welland, City of Orangeville and the City of Brampton. Linval Ritchie has been identified as the suspect in these incidents and is believed to be actively evading police. As such, a warrant of arrest is being issued for Linval Ritchie for the following offences:

1)      Break and Enter

2)      Uttering Threats x 4

3)      Assault x3

4)      Assault with a Weapon
