Man Wanted in Shooting Investigation

Region of Peel – Investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau seek the public's assistance in locating a man wanted for a shooting incident in the City of Brampton.

On Monday, September 6, 2021, at approximately 3:05 p.m., three people who are known to each other, were in a basement of a residence in the area of Ardglen Drive and Wilton Drive in Brampton. It is alleged that a firearm was discharged by a male suspect, striking a 20-year-old woman. An 18-year-old man, who was also present, was physically uninjured.

The female victim was transported to a trauma centre where her injuries are still considered life-threatening. The suspect fled the area in an unknown direction.  

The man alleged to have committed this offence has been identified as 19-year-old Isaiah Bachoo of no fixed address. A warrant for his arrest has been issued for numerous firearm-related offences. 

Isaiah Bachoo is considered armed and dangerous and anyone that sees him is asked to call  9-1-1 and to keep their distance. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call investigators at the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau (905) 453-2121, ext. 2233.
