Public Assistance Requested in Mississauga Indecent Act Investigation

Region of Peel – Investigators from the 11 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking public assistance to identify a suspect involved in a series of indecent acts along the banks of the Credit River, between Timothy Street Park and Streetsville Public Cemetery, located at 1786 Bristol Road West, Mississauga.

Between late August 2024 and January 29, 2025, the suspect was observed by the victims from a distance next to the Credit River, close to the bridge, with his pants lowered, committing an intentional indecent act.

The suspect is described as a white male with a light complexion, around 5'8 to 6 feet tall, 20-30 years old, slim to medium build, short dark hair and trimmed dark-coloured beard. He was wearing a green jacket, black pants, and a black winter hat. However, please note that the suspect’s clothing differed on each occasion. The suspect and the victims are not known to each other.

Peel Regional Police believe there may be more victims and are appealing for victims and witnesses to come forward. While the victims reported no physical interaction with the suspect, police are reminding persons using the trails in the area to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
