Arrest Made in 2023 Armed Home Invasion Robbery In Mississauga
Region of Peel – Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Central Robbery Bureau have charged an adult male in connection to a home invasion robbery that occurred in the city of Mississauga.
It is alleged that on the morning of October 23, 2023, four suspects attended an address near Mavis Road and Bristol Road West, Mississauga. The suspects wore hard hats and carried clipboards, forced entry into the residence while the victims were inside. Once inside the residence, the suspects violently assaulted and forcibly confined the victims while brandishing a handgun and making demands for property and money. The victims suffered numerous serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Following a lengthy investigation investigators arrested and charged Clifford Francois, a 34-year-old male of no fixed address with the following:
- Robbery
- Forcible Confinement
- Assault Cause Bodily Harm
He was held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
This investigation remains ongoing and police anticipate more charges could be laid.
