Firearm Located After Reports Of Shots Fired In Mississauga

Region of Peel – Investigators from the 11 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau have laid charges against a man, after he was found in possession of a firearm.

On Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 11:13 p.m., patrol officers attended the area of Front Street South and Lakeshore Road West in the City of Mississauga, for a report of shots fired. The suspect was seen fleeing from the area in a vehicle.   

Responding officers located the vehicle and driver in the area of Truscott Drive and Bodmin Road, and as a result of their investigation, officers located a loaded Femaru 9mm handgun.

Noah Shipley, a 22-year-old man from Mississauga, has been charged with the following offences: 

  • Discharge Firearm Endangering Life
  • Possession of a Firearm Without a License
  • Occupant of a Motor Vehicle with Knowledge a Firearm
  • Possession of a Loaded Restricted/Prohibited Firearm
  • Possession of Stolen Property

Noah Shipley was held for a bail hearing and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Sunday, January 23, 2022.
