Victim Identified in Homicide Investigation

Region of Peel – Investigators from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspects involved in a homicide that occurred in the city of Mississauga. 

On Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 3:47 a.m., police responded to reports of an altercation at a residence near Joan Drive and Central Parkway Drive, Mississauga.  Upon arrival, officers located the victim, an adult man suffering from obvious signs of trauma.  He was transported to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. 

The victim has been identified as 55-year-old, WEI Ruo Zhao of Mississauga. 

Two other men were found injured and transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Homicide investigators, along with family members of Mr. Wei, are urging anyone with any information to contact the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau at 905-453-2121 extension 3205.
