Appeal for Witnesses in Road Rage Incident

Region of Peel – Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau seek the public’s assistance in relation to an alleged road rage incident in the City of Brampton.

On Sunday, September 5, 2021, at approximately 5:30 p.m., the victim, a 37-year-old man from Brampton, was the passenger in a vehicle driving in the area of Airport Road and Bovaird Drive in Brampton. At that time, the victim became involved in an altercation with a driver in another vehicle.

The vehicles came to a stop, at which time the suspect assaulted the victim with a weapon.

The victim attended a local hospital with serious injuries. His condition is currently stable. 

Police are appealing to the public who may have witnessed the incident or captured it on video surveillance or dashcam footage between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to contact investigators.
