Witness Appeal – Serious Injury Fail to Remain Collision

Region of Peel – Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau are investigating a serious injury Fail to Remain collision in Mississauga.

On Saturday, June 18th, 2022, at approximately 1:30 am on Lakeshore Road East of Cawthra Road in the City of Mississauga. The victim, a 38-year-old female, was struck by the suspect's vehicle while running in the curb lane of westbound Lakeshore Road. The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious personal injuries. The suspect's vehicle fled the scene, failing to render any assistance to the victim.

Investigators have identified the suspect vehicle as a newer model dark-coloured minivan. This vehicle is believed to have sustained front passenger side damage.

Investigators are appealing for any witnesses in the area who witnessed the collision or may have dash cameras or anyone with any information on the suspect to call investigators with the Major Collision Bureau at (905) 453–2121, ext. 3710.
