Suspect Arrested in Donation Box Theft

Region of PeelInvestigators from the Peel Regional Police Criminal Investigation Bureau were asking for assistance in identifying a suspect in relation to a theft of two poppy donation boxes in the City of Brampton.

On November 10, 2019 at approximately 2:51 p.m. the suspect attended a store in the area of Peel Centre Drive in the City of Brampton.  The suspect stole two poppy donation boxes with approximately $200 cash contained within. The suspect is described as female, white, 25-40 years of age, medium build with dark brown hair.  She has a distinctive mark on the left side of her face. The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweat shirt.

The suspect was later identified as Sindi Ingram of no fixed address and a warrant was issued for her arrest for Theft Under $5000. On November 30, 2019, Sindi Ingram was arrested and appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton in answer to the charges.
