Arrest Made in Retail Robbery Series

Region of Peel – Investigators from the Central Robbery Bureau have arrested and charged an adult male in relation to five retail robberies where a weapon was used. There were no physical injuries sustained. The robberies occurred in the City of Brampton between January and March 2020.

 On Thursday, October 15th, 2020, at approximately 9:45 pm, police received information from the public that the suspect was in the area of Bramalea Road and Sandalwood Parkway in the city of Brampton. The suspect was located and arrested by uniform officers, and the Central Robbery Bureau took over the investigation.   

 Mangot PRABHKARAN, a 20-year-old man from Brampton, has been charged with five counts of Robbery and will be held pending a Bail Hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on October 16th, 2020.
