Arrest Made in Multiple Sexual Assaults Investigation

Region of Peel – Investigators from 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have charged a young person in relation to multiple reports of sexual assaults and indecent acts in Brampton.

Between December 2024 and March 2025, Peel Regional Police received several complaints regarding a male who was allegedly exposing himself and sexually assaulting females around Steeles Avenue and Financial Drive in Brampton. He also used a motorized scooter to flee the area after committing the offences. 

On April 3, 2025, investigators located and arrested the accused in Sid Manser Park in Brampton, while he was committing another indecent act. Further investigation revealed that he was also responsible for the previous reported incidents.

As a result, a youth has been charged with: 

• Sexual Assault X3

• Indecent Act X3

He was held for a bail hearing and appeared before the Ontario Court of Youth Justice in Brampton.

A general provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act (Y.C.J.A.) prohibits the release of a Young Person's name; therefore, the identity of the Young Person charged in this investigation is protected.
