Composite Sketch of Suspect

Region of Peel – Investigators from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau have obtained a composite of the person believed to be responsible for the stabbing, which resulted in the region’s 11th homicide of 2019.

On Friday August 2, 2019 just prior to 2:21 a.m., the victim, Glensbert Oliver, and his son were at their residence on Lanebrook Drive in Brampton. At this time, they discovered a group of five males going through a vehicle in the driveway. An altercation ensued, and both, the victim and his son, were stabbed. Glensbert Oliver died from his injuries at the scene. The second victim’s wounds were not life threatening.

Police know that the group of male suspects were committing minor property offences, which lead to one of them escalating to murder.

A composite sketch has been obtained of the person police believe is responsible for the murder of 63-year-old Glensbert Oliver.

All suspects are being sought in relation to the murder, however, police are recommending that the involved males seek legal counsel, and turn themselves in.

Additionally, police have identified the vehicle being driven as a Lexus RX350, model year is possibly 2010-2015, dark in colour, likely grey.
