Assistance Sought in Stabbing Investigation

Region of Peel – Investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau request the public’s assistance in relation to a stabbing that occurred in the City of Brampton. 

On Sunday, July 31, 2022, at 3:41 a.m., police responded to a stabbing in the area of McMurchy Avenue North and Queen Street West in Brampton. Upon arrival, the officer’s located two male victims suffering from stab wounds. One victim was transported to a trauma centre who is in serious condition. A second victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

There is no suspect information at this time.   

The investigation is still in its early stages. Anyone with information of this incident, surveillance footage, or dashcam that may have captured the moments leading up to, during, or after the incident is asked to contact investigators at 905-453-3311, extension 2233.
