Warrant Issued For A Stabbing In Mississauga

Region of Peel – Officers from the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have issued a warrant to arrest a male concerning a stabbing in Mississauga.

On Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at approximately 5:50 p.m., police were called to a shopping centre in the area of Hurontario Street and Burnhamthorpe Road in the City of Mississauga relating to a stabbing.

The suspect attended the shopping centre with a knife and assaulted a male victim. The victim sustained serious but not-life threatening injuries.  

Investigation revealed that the suspect has been identified as 22-year-old Michael Ramos of Mississauga and is wanted for the following offences:

· Aggravated Assault

· Fail to Comply
