Arrest Made in Hate-Related Graffiti Investigation
Region of Peel – Officers from Peel Regional Police’s Hate Crime Unit have arrested and charged a woman in connection with an incident involving hate-related graffiti in Mississauga.
On Sept. 22, 2025, at approximately 9:26 a.m., police received a report of mischief to a telecommunications utility box and several items in a nearby playground in the area of Webb Drive and Grand Park Drive. The spray-painted hate graffiti contained derogatory remarks toward the Muslim and Indian community.
Following a thorough investigation, Freda Looker-Rilloraza, a 29-year-old female from Mississauga was arrested and charged with Mischief Over $5,000.
The accused was released on conditions, pending her appearance date in the Ontario Court of Justice.
