Warrant Issued in Commercial Break & Enter Investigation

Region of Peel  Investigators from the 21 Division Break and Enter Unit have concluded a three month investigation into a series of  commercial and ATM break and enters that occurred across the Greater Toronto Area. 

On Friday, November 19, 2021, investigators conducted two search warrants in the City of Brampton.  As a result, a variety of power tools, cash and clothing were located and seized as evidence.

Keith Brooks, a 36-year-old-man from Brampton, has been charged with the following offences:

  • Break and Enter x27
  • Wearing a Disguise with Intent to Commit a Criminal Offence x27
  • Breach of an Undertaking

Keith Brooks was held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.

The second suspect is still outstanding and has been identified as Shawn Moore, a 36-year-old man from Brampton. A warrant has been issued for his arrest and he is currently wanted for the following offences:

  • Break and Enter x27
  • Wearing a Disguise with Intent to Commit a Criminal Offence x27
