Fatal Hit and Run Collision in Mississauga
Region of Peel– Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect vehicle involved in a hit and run.
On Friday, Nov. 14, at approximately 9:05 p.m., a collision occurred between a vehicle and a pedestrian in the area of Eglinton Avenue West and Fallingbrook Drive in Mississauga. As a result of this collision, the male pedestrian succumbed to his injuries. The vehicle and driver failed to remain at the scene and did not render assistance.
Through investigation, the involved vehicle has been identified as a 2014–2018 Mini Cooper S. The vehicle fled Westbound on Eglinton Avenue and is believed to have significant damage to the right-side front end, hood, and windshield.
Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau are appealing for witnesses and requesting anyone who may have dash camera footage from the area during the time of the incident to come forward.
