Public Assistance Needed in Fail To Remain Collision

Region of Peel – Patrol officers from 21 Division are investigating a serious injury Fail to Remain collision and are appealing to the public for assistance.

On Friday, March 22, 2023, at approximately 6:20 a.m., a collision occurred between a motor vehicle and a pedestrian in the area of Countryside Drive & Fairservice Drive in Brampton. The victim, a 19-year-old woman, was struck by the vehicle while crossing across the eastbound lanes on Countryside Drive. The vehicle did not stop and continued eastbound on Countryside Drive, without rendering any assistance.

The victim sustained serious non-life threatening injures. She attended a local hospital to receive medical attention.

The suspect vehicle is believed to be a light colored four-door sedan.

Investigators are appealing for any witnesses in the area who witnessed the collision, have dash cam footage, or are from vehicle repair centres that may have any information on the suspect or suspect vehicle to contact investigators at (905) 453-3311 Ext. 2133.
