Public Assistance Sought in Identifying Assault Suspect

Region of Peel– Investigators from 21 Division are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying a suspect following an assault incident in Brampton.

On Saturday, Feb.1, 2025, between 12 a.m. and 1 a.m., the victim, an adult male, was in the area of Dixie Road and Father Tobin Road in Brampton.  The victim approached the suspect and a verbal altercation ensued.   The suspect proceeded to assault the victim and flee the scene.  The victim sustained non-life-threatening, yet significant injuries as a result.

The suspect is described as male, medium complexion, 5'9, approximately 25-30 years old, skinny build, muscular, black hair that goes below the ears but above the shoulders, and a thin beard. He was last seen fleeing in an older model, silver, Mercedes with dark tinted windows. It is believed that the first letter of the license plate begins with the letter “C”.
