Public Assistance Sought in Locating Wanted Offender

Region of Peel— Investigators from the Intimate Partner Violence Unit (IPV) are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted in connection to an IPV investigation.  

Jagmohanjit Jheety, a 47-year-old man from Saskatchewan is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for several Criminal Code Offences including:

  • Criminal Harassment                           
  • Harassing Communications                 
  • Uttering Death Threats                                    
  • Fail to Comply with Release Order      

Detectives have reason to believe that Jagmohanjit is in the Region of Peel and may have access to firearms and other weapons.

He is facing additional criminal charges including: 

  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
  • Knowledge of Unauthorised Possession of Firearm
  • Careless Storage of Firearm

Jagmohanjit Jheety should be considered armed and dangerous and if seen, members of the public are asked to dial 9-1-1 and not approach.

Jagmohanjit Jheety is encouraged to seek legal counsel and turn himself into the police.
