Public’s Assistance Sought in Fatal Shooting

Region of Peel – Officers from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau are investigating a fatal shooting of a 30-year-old man in a Brampton food and beverage establishment.

On Saturday, April 30, 2022, at approximately 1:24 a.m., emergency services received multiple calls for a person shot inside a food and beverage establishment in the area of Kennedy Road & Sandalwood Parkway in the City of Brampton. Officers located a 30-year-old man inside, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, Ricardo Bryan, was transported to a trauma centre where he was admitted. He has now been pronounced deceased as he succumbed to his injuries.

The Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau have taken carriage of this investigation. Investigators believe that the victim was the intended target of this shooting and that this was an isolated incident. No other injuries were reported as a result of this shooting.

There is no suspect information available at this time, and investigators are asking anyone with information on this incident, has surveillance or dashcam footage or may have captured the moments leading up to, during, or after the incident is asked to contact investigators at 905-453-2121 extension 3205.
