Over $50,000 in Stolen Property Recovered

Region of Peel – Investigators from the Peel Regional Police 22 Division Break and Enter Unit, have charged thirteen persons and laid 66 criminal charges resulting in the recovery of approximately $50,000 worth of stolen property.

From January to April 2021, officers from the 22 Division Break and Enter Unit, commenced an investigation into residential break and enters, thefts, and thefts from vehicles, in downtown Brampton and area. During this time period, multiple search warrants were conducted within Peel Region and surrounding area. 

The investigators believe that some of the crimes have gone undetected or unreported. As a result, police are seeking assistance from the public in checking their outbuildings, including garages and sheds. If you find any property missing or have not reported it, you can report it online.
