Man Charged in Mississauga Murder Investigation

Region of Peel – Investigators from the Homicide and Missing Person Bureau are asking for the public's assistance in the investigation regarding the death of a man in the City of Mississauga. 

On Friday, July 9, 2021, at approximately 8:30 a.m., police received a call for an unconscious man located on the roadway at Gant Crescent and Galesway Boulevard in Mississauga. Upon arrival, police located the man suffering from obvious signs of trauma. Paramedics attempted to render assistance; unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries.  

The victim has been identified as Orlando Donaldson, a 39-year-old man from Mississauga. 

Victor Alvarado, a 36-year-old man from Mississauga, has been arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder. He and the victim are known to each other. 

Victor Alvarado appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Saturday, July 10, 2021.
