Witness Appeal - Fail to Remain Collision Involving Pedestrian

Region of Peel– Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau are appealing for witnesses of a serious fail to remain collision in Mississauga where a pedestrian was struck.

On Friday, November 8, 2024, at 5:25 p.m. The victim, an 80-year-old man was crossing midblock on Creditview Road south of Eglinton Avenue West when he was struck by a white SUV. The driver of the SUV stopped briefly and then fled the scene in the vehicle.

The victim was transported to a trauma center with serious injuries as a result of the collision. 

The suspect is described as male, white, approximately 60-70 years of age. 

As investigators continue to canvas for CCTV footage, they are asking for any witnesses of the incident, anyone with information about the suspect, or anyone with dash camera footage to call the Major Collision Bureau at (905) 453–2121, ext. 3710.
