Community Safety Project – Retail Properties

Region of Peel – Officers from the 11 Division Community Incident Response Team and the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have initiated a Community Safety Project from March 10 to March 16, 2025, aimed at preventing, deterring, and responding to criminal offences and lawless public behaviour on commercial shopping centre properties within 11 Division in Mississauga.

The Community Safety Project team will proactively patrol the Square One Shopping Centre, Erin Mills Town Centre, and Meadowvale Town Centre in response to community concerns related to criminal offences and lawless public behaviour, including jewellery store robberies, vehicle thefts, and disturbances at commercial shopping centres. Community members will see an increased presence of officers in these areas.

Anyone wishing to report emergency incidents can call 911 or for non-emergencies, call 905-453-2121. Members of the public can also report anonymously by contacting Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or by visiting http://www.peelcrimestoppers.ca.
