Man Charged in Sexual Assault Investigation

Region of Peel – Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Special Victims Unit have charged an assistant massage therapist in relation to a sexual assault investigation.

On Wednesday, June 15, 2022, the victim, a 39-year-old woman from Mississauga, attended a clinic in the area of Hurontario Street and Dundas Street East in Mississauga. At that time, it was alleged that the victim was sexually assaulted.  

On Wednesday, June 22, 2022, police arrested and charged Salah Saod Al Handani, a 57-year-old man from Mississauga, for the following offence:  

  • Sexual Assault

He will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on a later date.

Salah Saod Al Handani has three years of experience in this field but is not a licensed massage therapist.

This investigation remains ongoing, and investigators believe there may be additional victims.
