Warrant Issued in Brampton Shooting Investigation

Region of Peel – Investigators with the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in relation to a shooting that occurred in downtown Brampton.

On Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at approximately 2:30 p.m., police responded to a report of shots fired in the area of George Street and Nelson Street in the City of Brampton.

Officers arrived on the scene and located evidence of a shooting. There were no reports of any injuries, and no victims were located at the scene.

Further investigation revealed two suspects fleeing the scene on foot. Officers located and arrested one suspect who was identified as Aasiah Williams, a 19-year-old female from Mississauga.

Aasiah Williams was arrested and charged for the following offences:

  • Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
  • Careless Use of a Firearm
  • Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
  • Discharge Firearm with Intent
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking

She attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Thursday, April 15, 2021.

The second suspect is still outstanding. He has been identified as Carlton Ollivierre, a 34-year-old man with no fixed address. He is described as male, black, fair complexion, 5’10”, 170lbs, thin build, medium length dreadlock style black hair, a black goatee and brown eyes.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
