Assistance Sought in Sex Assault Investigation
Region of Peel – Investigators from the Special Victims Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in relation to an alleged sexual assault that occurred in the City of Brampton.
On September 9, 2023, the victim, a 14-year-old female was walking through Chinguacousy Park. It is alleged that the suspect followed and then sexually assaulted the victim.
The suspect description: Male, black, 5’5”-5’9”, medium build, thin goatee, wearing a white hoodie, white shorts, black flip flops with grey socks, with a large ring on one of his fingers.
