Arrest Made in Brampton Bank Robbery
Region of Peel - Peel Regional Police’s Central Robbery Bureau has arrested and charged a man in connection with a bank robbery that occurred in Brampton.
On Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025, at approximately 12:40 p.m., the suspect entered a bank in the area of Main Street and Queen Street West. He then approached an employee working as a customer service representative and made a demand for cash. Fearing for their safety, the victim provided a quantity of Canadian currency, which the suspect took before fleeing the bank.
In a coordinated response, uniform officers from 22 Division and members of the Central Robbery Bureau attended the area and located the suspect nearby. He was taken into custody without incident. A search warrant was subsequently executed at the suspect’s residence, where investigators located Canadian currency and other offence-related property.
As a result of the investigation, 27-year-old Fabrizio Rosado of Brampton has been charged with one count of Robbery.
Mr. Rosado was held for a bail hearing and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
