Assistance Sought in Mississauga Shooting

Region of Peel – Investigators from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau request the public’s assistance in relation to a shooting that occurred in the City of Mississauga.

On Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at approximately 10:00 p.m., we received reports of gunfire in the area of Glen Erin Drive and Britannia Road West in Mississauga. Upon arrival, officers located a victim, 45-year-old Rohan Bennett from Mississauga, suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the best efforts of first responders, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.  

There is no suspect description at this time. Investigators believe this is a targeted incident.

Anyone with information, video surveillance or dashcam footage is asked to call investigators from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau at 905-453–2121, extension 3205. Information may also be left anonymously by calling Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
