Public Assistance Sought in Locating Offender
Region of Peel—Investigators from the Intimate Partner Violence Unit (IPV) are requesting the public’s assistance in locating an individual wanted in connection with an IPV investigation.
It is alleged that Mahad Amjad, a 27-year-old man with no fixed address has committed several serious criminal offences relating to an IPV related incident that occurred on May 10, 2024, in Brampton. He is currently evading police.
Police believe Mahad to be armed and dangerous. If seen, members of the public should call 9-1-1. Do not approach or make contact.
A Warrant for his arrest has been sought, and Mahad is encouraged to seek legal counsel and turn himself in to the police.
