Fatal Brampton Fire Under Investigation

Region of Peel – Investigators from the Peel Regional Police are investigating the deaths of two men who died in a house fire in the City of Brampton. 

On Thursday, May 7, 2020, at approximately 10:41p.m., police received a fire call to a rooming house located at 5 Mill Street North in the City of Brampton. Police and Brampton Fire services arrived to find the home fully engulfed. After the fire was extinguished, two male bodies were located in the residence.

The victims have been identified as, Keith Powell, a 65-year-old man from Brampton, and Darell Terrell, a 59-year-old man from Brampton.

Investigators are working with the Ontario Fire Marshalls, and the Centre of Forensic Sciences as the circumstances surrounding the deaths remains an ongoing investigation.
