Arrest Made in Series of ATM Robberies

Region of Peel – Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have arrested and charged an 18-year-old man from Brampton following a series of ATM robberies in Brampton.

Between Friday, September 22, 2023, and Thursday, September 28, 2023, the accused attended several financial institutions within the City of Brampton and robbed victims while they were at the ATM. There were minor injuries in two of the incidents. No other injuries were reported. 

On Thursday, September 28, 2023, Eli Roberts was arrested and charged with the following offences:

• Robbery (X5)

He was held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
