Arrests Made in Mississauga Home Invasion

Region of Peel – Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Central Robbery Bureau, with the assistance of 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau and Toronto Police Service, have arrested and charged two men in relation to a home invasion in the City of Mississauga. 

It is alleged that on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at approximately 3:00 a.m., the victims were present inside a residence in the area of Confederation Parkway and Rathburn Road in the City of Mississauga. At that time, several suspects entered the residence armed with firearms. The suspects secured the victims’ hands with zip ties and duct tape, and one of the victims was assaulted. Each of the victims’ cellular phones and laptop computers was stolen, as was two of the victims’ vehicles. There were no physical injuries sustained as a result of the incident.

After a thorough criminal investigation, the suspects along with the stolen vehicles were located and arrested in the Toronto area with the assistance of the Toronto Police Emergency Task Force.

25-year-old Mark-Anthony De Silva and 25-year-old Trevee Raympre, both from Ajax, have been charged with Robbery, Use of an Imitation Firearm, Wear Disguise and Possession of Stolen Property.

Both men were held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice on Tuesday, November 23, 2021.
