Firearm Located After Road Rage Incident

Region of Peel – Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have laid charges against two men from Quebec regarding various firearm offences.

On Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at 11:50 a.m., uniform patrol officers responded to an alleged road rage incident in the area of Queen Street and Dixie Road in Brampton after a motorist called police to advise that a passenger in another vehicle had shown him a firearm.  

Officers located the suspect vehicle in an underground parking structure; three men and a female were taken into custody.

As a result of the investigation, officers located a shotgun and an imitation revolver.  

Marc-Andre Labine Duval, a 26-year-old man from Quebec, was charged with 

the following offences:

Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm

Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing There was a Firearm

Possession of Weapons Dangerous

Alexander Laroche, a 27-year-old man from Quebec, was charged with the following offences:

Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm

Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing There was a Firearm

Both were held for a bail hearing and attended at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Wednesday, March 31, 2021.
