Double Homicide Investigated in Brampton

Region of PeelOn Friday, August 16, 2019 at approximately 5:44 a.m., Peel Regional Police responded to a call for a stabbing on Josephine Court in the City of Brampton. Upon arrival, officer’s located two victims inside the residence who had sustained life threatening injuries.

The first victim has been identified as a 53-year-old mother of four. As a result of her injuries, she died inside the residence.

The second victim has been identified as her son, 13-year-old son, who was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The suspect has been identified as a 51-year-old man who is the husband and father of the two victims. After the incident, he fled the residence in a vehicle and ended his own life in the area of Williams Parkway and Highway 410 in Brampton.

To respect the family’s privacy during this tragic time, the names of those involved will not be released.
