Brampton Man and Woman Arrested for Possession of a Loaded Firearm
Region of Peel – Officers from 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau charged a man and woman from Brampton with firearm offences.
On Sunday, May 21, 2023, at 8:06 p.m., 21 Division uniform patrol officers were investigating a man and woman in a vehicle for a Cannabis Act investigation in the area of Queen Street East and Bramalea Road, Brampton. During the investigation, a loaded.45-caliber Glock firearm was located and seized.
Jonathan Lodge, a 27-year-old man from Brampton, was charged with the following offences;
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Knowledge of unauthorized possession of firearm
- Occupant of a motor vehicle knowing there was a firearm
- Possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted possession
- Tampering with serial number of a firearm
- Fail to comply with a release order
- Possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order
Delisha Lodge, a 31-year-old woman from Brampton, was charged with the following offences;
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Knowledge of unauthorized possession of firearm
- Occupant of motor vehicle knowing there was a firearm
- Possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm
- Tampering with serial number of firearm
- Have care or control of vehicle with cannabis readily available
They appeared for a bail hearing in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Monday, May 22, 2023.
