Peel Police Appealing for Witnesses in 12th Homicide of 2019

Region of PeelInvestigators from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau are investigating a homicide that occurred in the City of Brampton.

On Thursday August 15, 2019 at approximately 8:09 a.m. Peel Regional Police responded to a call in regards to a body being located in a greenbelt area located off of Steeles Avenue west of Tomken Road in Brampton. Upon arrival a male was located with obvious signs of trauma.  The victim was transported to a Trauma centre where he succumbed to his injuries.

The victim has been identified as Wayne Wojcichowsky, a 47-year-old man from Brampton.
