Charges Laid in 2019 Mississauga Homicide
Region of Peel – Homicide investigators have arrested and charged a man and a woman in a Mississauga homicide.
On Saturday, December 28, 2019, at 12:55 a.m., police responded to a disturbance call where two males were involved in an altercation at a residence near Glen Erin Drive and The Collegeway in the City of Mississauga. Upon arrival, 44-year-old Maxwell Charles from Mississauga and 29-year-old Jamal Holder were located outside the residence suffering from apparent stab wounds and died from their injuries.
On May 5, 2022, investigators arrested 22-year-old Uneek Charles of Dundalk and charged with the following offences:
- Second Degree Murder x2
On May 6, 2022, investigators arrested a 45-year-old Sandra Pereira of Dundalk and charged with the following offences:
- Accessory to Murder After the Fact x2
They were held for a bail hearing and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice on Friday, May 6, 2022.
