Male Facing Numerous Firearm Charges

Region of PeelInvestigators from 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have charged a male with numerous firearms related offences.

On Sunday August 5, 2018 at approximately 9:30 p.m. police responded to a report of a disturbance in the area of Sussex Gate and Enfield Place in the City of Mississauga.

As a result of the investigation, a male was arrested in a parking lot at the aforementioned location.

Investigators from 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have charged Morris TUTU, a 21 year-old male from Toronto, with the following offences:

  1. Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
  2. Careless Storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition
  3. Careless Storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition
  4. Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
  5. Carrying a Concealed Weapon
  6. Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
  7. Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
  8. Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition for a Dangerous Purpose
  9. Breach of Firearms Regulation
  10. Possession of Firearm at Unauthorized Place

TUTU was held for a bail hearing at the A. Grenville & William Davis Court House in the City of Brampton.
