Assistance Sought for Fatal Collision in Brampton

Region of Peel – Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau seek assistance from the public after a fatal motor vehicle collision occurred in the City of Brampton. 

On Saturday, September 25, 2021, at approximately 12:30 a.m., a collision occurred between a tractor-trailer and a vehicle at Steeles Avenue East and Bramalea Road in Brampton. The victim, a 47-year-old man from Brampton, was operating his 2015 Freight Liner tractor-trailer. He was assessed on the scene and was not required to go to the hospital.

The front seat passenger of the 2014 Chrysler 300, a 19-year-old man from Mississauga, died on the scene because of his injuries. 

The driver and the rear passenger of the 2014 Chrysler 300 were transported to a trauma center in life-threatening conditions. The driver, a 21-year-old man from Mississauga, has succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. 

The rear passenger, a 20-year-old man from Mississauga, is still currently in critical condition at the hospital.  

Investigators are appealing to anyone from the public who may have witnessed the collision or captured the collision on video surveillance or dashcam footage to contact investigators with the Major Collision Bureau at 905-453-2121 x3710.
