Police Release Surveillance from Sexual Assault Investigation

Region of Peel– Investigators from the Special Victims Unit are seeking assistance from the public, in identifying a suspect involved in a sexual assault investigation.

In the early morning hours of September 2, 2018 the female victim, who is under 16 years of age, was in her residence in the area of Massey Street and Mallard Crescent, in the City of Brampton. The victim was confronted by the suspect who had broken into her home and proceeded to sexually assault her. The suspect then fled the residence.

The suspect is described as male, black, approximately 30 years old, average height, medium build, bald, small moustache and goatee and he was last seen wearing a black zip up sweater and jeans.

Investigators have obtained surveillance video from the area, and have made it available for viewing in hopes of identifying the male. To view the video visit our YouTube Channel.
